cancer kitty

quietannSo... Ms. Myrtle, my limping kitty, has cancer in her left elbow joint :( I took her to the vet (Dr. Becky, aka ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ladysprite tonight with the intention of asking about getting the leg amputated, since Myrtle can't move it at all and it's just in her way... Dr. Becky took another Xray and there was this ugly looking mass. Luckily in cats these cancers, while malignant, are usually very slow to spread. So hopefully, by tomorrow night, Myrtle will be minus one leg and also cancer-free.
