cancer kitty

So... Ms. Myrtle, my limping kitty, has cancer in her left elbow joint :( I took her to the vet (Dr. Becky, aka ladysprite tonight with the intention of asking about getting the leg amputated, since Myrtle can't move it at all and it's just in her way... Dr. Becky took another Xray and there was this ugly looking mass. Luckily in cats these cancers, while malignant, are usually very slow to spread. So hopefully, by tomorrow night, Myrtle will be minus one leg and also cancer-free.

Poor Myrtle. Cats seem to do fine with only 3 legs. I'm guessing it's a front leg, but you didn't quite say. Back legs are a little harder to lose, but not impossible to live with.
