So... with the remodeling in full swing, a great deal of debris is being generated. It's slowly filling the carport after less than 2 weeks. This *bugs* me, so I asked Ben to get a garbage container. He insisted that the Andover garbage service would take it (the first week, they did). We got into a huge and unpleasant argument about this, in which I accused him of being cheap, and Ghu only knows what he was thinking about me. We finally compromised -- he would put stuff out with the garbage, and if it didn't get taken, he'd arrange for a container to be delivered.
My life moved on; I "sensed" that the volume of construction debris hadn't gone down after trash day, but I got distracted by other things and didn't ask Ben about it.
This morning, at SIX THIRTY A.M., a garbage container was delivered to our house. Those of you who know Ben know that he's *not* awake at that hour, but he dealt with it (in his bare feet and bathrobe full of holes, I should add.) When I realized what was going on, I started cracking up... and barely got myself composed in time for his return to bed.
It's good to have a sense of humor when remodeling....
