sewing machine tune-up?
Jan. 27th, 2004 12:55 pmMy Husqvarna/Viking sewing machine needs a tuneup (it's full of fuzz from quilting so much, and the tension has gone slightly wonky). I could just look up the nearest place in a phone book, and go there, but I'd rather get recommendations (or "avoid this place!" notices) from friends. I do need a licensed H/V service center.
Ideally, it would also be a plce willing to look at an old Singer treadle machine and give me a cost estimate for refurbishing (but not electrifying) it.
