so... I went a little mad and ordered a LOT of tazetta daffodils (some of which are known as paperwhites). I'll be passing them out to party hosts and close friends, in glass bowls with stones. They are very easy to grow; all one does is add water and keep adding it. It takes 5-6 weeks to get pretty flowers :) Unfortunately, the bulbs won't survive outside in our winters, and once they have bloomed, they're done.

I've already started distributing them, but if you want some (and we are local to one another) let me know and I'll make some up for you.

BTW, this is my "Buy Israeli" action for the year. The bulbs are native to dry mediterranean areas, and Israel has a huge industry growing and shipping them.
