quietann(note: this is directed at one particular person, but others should know...)
If you want to get ahold of me, DO NOT CALL MY CELLPHONE unless you know I am not home. It is turned off most of the time, and I *don't* check the messages regularly. When I am at home (as I am about 80% of the time), the reception in this area is bad enough that even if the phone is turned on, calls are not likely to get through.
Especially DO NOT CALL MY CELLPHONE with time-urgent matters (and especially when I have already told you *at least* 3 times not to call my cellphone! And don't give me a lame excuse that you KNOW does not apply to me, like "Well, a lot of people are giving up their landlines these days.")
Thank you for your attention; now back to your regularly scheduled rainy Saturday...
