why the weight thing makes me crazy
Oct. 4th, 2003 11:48 amIn today's Globe, there was an article about (a) people trying to get a date by offering a Red Sox playoff ticket, and (b) people trying to get a Red Sox playoff ticket by offering themselves as a date. One of the people in category (b) was a woman who described herself as "5' 9" and 145 pounds". That's crass enough, but one of the guys who replied to her ad said he wouldn't consider her as a date until she lost 25 pounds!
AAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
(and yes, I know guys like that are idiots, but...)

Losing 25 lbs would make her weigh less than I do, while being 3 inches taller, and that's just not a good idea.

PS On other subjects...I went to ManRay once. It was too smoky for me, but aside of that I had a good time, and I was not the largest girl there.
