I've never heard of anyone being turned away from Manray other than for being underage or for not meeting dress code (no jeans, no khakis, I don't remember what else).
I went when I was eight months pregnant. I don't imagine I looked uber-cool. I'm pretty sure my date didn't. (Who the hell did I go with? I don't even remember.) They have a dress code, but that just means dress vaguely Gothy. Like wear black. *shrug*
dress goth, show an id, and get in. it's really not a big deal. if you don't have any gothwear, i suspect the clothing swap on oct 19 will set you right up :)
