This is what the van looked like as I was ready to leave home on Wednesday. There were 12 rats total. We added two more people and their stuff, for a rather tight squeeze.
I obviously understand why you're not posting updates in equestrian anymore, but I'd love to keep hearing about Feronia. I know you are super careful about your flist now but I'd lvoe to read how things are going with her and eventing_ponies.
Either way, hope all is well, and give Feronia a pat!
Probably the best thing to do is friend her. She'll probably be posting pretty frequently (and yes, the first post is scary; she completely overfaced Feronia and the poor pony melted down.) She's a great kid (one month shy of 14) and quite the handy rider -- not "pretty" but she gets the job done.
She's taking Feronia to eventing camp for 3 weeks in late June and then will be competing her locally for the rest of the summer, probably at Beginner Novice and maybe Novice. Feronia has the makings of a Training-level eventer with the right rider (it might be her, but it's definitely not me!) This season with Trump was to be her first "full" eventing season doing recognized events other than UNH, so it's good she has Feronia to work with.
I'm having serious confidence issues so I am mostly riding Trump, though I get on Feronia once or twice a week and do simple things with her.
