I just got the final bill for my tubal ligation: $125! My COBRA insurance ended up covering the rest (about $6000). It just took 5 months for the Brigham and Women's bean counters to figure that out.
I didn't fare quite so well. It wan't until May that finally got the urologist's bill for the retrograde cystoscopy I had in October. And the part left over after the insurance was $577. At least this time around I'd learned not to pay the double billing the hospital center charges for radiology.
