fell off the 100 days wagon

Well, just when I started jury duty, I fell off the 100-days wagon. I've sewn only a little bit, and done only rat cages, as far as cleaning goes. How do I get back on the wagon?

(WRT the cleaning part, it may be easier, since my friend Tom is going to be our houseguest for a week, starting June 17. At the very least I need to clean the bathroom, and neaten the guest room, before he shows up. And I have asked my beloved husband to de-clutter some of the public areas of the house, for Tom's comfort...)

Do it

Just do it. I fell off and got back on. You can reset your start date as I did or just continue.

I've been working on a screed about the 100 days journey for a while, so I took this to be my cue to finish it already and post it in my journal. Hope it proves at least somewhat helpful; the short form is that there is no "wagon" per se.

forward, march

Take a moment to breathe and look at what you learned when you were doing it. Is it too big a step at once, or did jury duty change your patterns too much to make the 100 day's journey fit too. If it's still a good fit, just start counting again, if not, aim at where you want to go next and start counting again. It's just life.
