So the baby rats are 2 1/2 weeks old now, which means they are the epitome of Teh Cute. I got some photos of Clownface's litter today.

This is exactly what it looks like. This is the runt, determined to nurse. And one of her sisters sitting on their very patient mama:

That is possibly the cutest picture I've ever seen of a mama + baby. Good for that wee runt! He's got the right attitude!

Hmm... looking at your smeezes. I need to take new pictures. I wonder if my mystery mask is a mismarked smeeze... is there smeeze in their peds?

(the runt is a girl. I actually may end up keeping her as she has by far the best personality in the litter, and she's perfectly healthy, just at this point a bit smaller than her siblings.)

Well, Siamese genes are all over my pedigrees, so yes, you may have a meezer. I did not think that Forrest carries it, though. I actually *don't* like it and am trying to breed away from it, not very successfully if you've seen my recent litters!

Thinking about it though there weren't any light eyes... so unless I've magically mutated to BES, I don't think that's my answer. I'll get some more pictures up of them today, you can see the color well now that they're fully furred.
