Friday Five, one day late
May. 10th, 2003 11:43 am1. Would you consider yourself an organized person? Why or why not?
Right now, no. I have generally been the sort of person who has "organized clutter" but I've slipped since I moved in with
deguspice, and especially since I started grad school.
2. Do you keep some type of planner, organizer, calendar, etc. with you, and do you use it regularly?
I generally keep a very simple, small written "datebook". Right now it's one of those lovely little things from the Harvard Coop -- about 2 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches, fits in my purse, and meets my needs.
deguspice and others have tried to convince me to get a PDA, but that would be something larger for not that much gain IMHO.
3. Would you say that your desk is organized right now?
Frighteningly not, at the moment.
4. Do you alphabetize CDs, books, and DVDs, or does it not matter?
I don't. The only one of these I have in any quantity is books, and I do try to keep them roughly organized by subject matter.
5. What's the hardest thing you've ever had to organize?
As
hammercock put it, "my life." More seriously, the thing I am currently struggling with is how to organize my fabric collection, which is over a thousand yards of quilting cottons in various sizes.
