For a baby, that's a really good picture. Babies normally have this "I'm totally clueless" look about them. And she has so much hair!

Absolutely precious! And I'm moved almost as much just by your dad's expression. It's been so long since I've seen him, and somehow that makes the photo of him and your niece doubly delightful to me!

Dad is soooo happy about the grandbaby, he's nearly bursting :) He says the feeling is similar to how he felt when I was born. He's unhappy that she lives in Alaska, but...

He's doing pretty well for an 80 year old man. He has a few annoying but not life-threatening health problems, and he definitely is a bit slower than he used to be, but really he's just the same person as he was 25 years ago. If he takes after his family members, he has another 10 years at least :)

I don't get to see Kai up close and in person until December. / pout!
