Aw, baby rats, so cute... they have hair now! Hows the SuperMom doing? I hope taking care of 17 babies isn't going to hurt her in the long run.

SuperMom is fat and happy (though she still tries to nip me when I get her out of the cage.) The difficult stage is about to arrive, when babies will still be nursing a lot but also crawling around outside the nest.
