GO GO Jasmine!

It's nearly 2 days since Jasmine took on Eva's babies, and...

ALL 17 babies are still alive! A few are very, very small, and they are all a bit skinnier than I'd like, but Jasmine is feeding them about 20 hours per day and they are definitely growing.

Telling who came from which litter will be... interesting. There are 3 rexes, a girl and 2 boys, and I know they are Jasmine's. The ones with red eyes are 99% surely Eva's, as are the American blues. Everyone else... well, we'll see.

Can you mark them when they're little? Like a snip off of their tail or a cut in their ear?

I normally use a Sharpie marker but it has to be redone almost every day; mama rats clean their kids a LOT.

And I really should have done it, or at least taken a photo, *before* I put the two litters together. But it was 1:30 in the morning and I was panicking, so that just got lost in the shuffle.

When she's not on her nest, she's eating, or guarding the nest. She actually sleeps a lot while she's nursing them.
