more baby rats

...born yesterday and today. I don't know how many yet as the mamas are still sitting on them. The ones born today, however, are SCREAMERS. My G-d, they are loud for critters that weigh all of 5 or 6 grams apiece! But of course, if one is a baby rat, squeaking loudly is the best way to let mom know one's still alive and doesn't wish to be eaten.

Yay for babies! What are you expecting out of these litters? How are the 17 older ones doing? I'd love to see them when you get a chance to do some pics.

One litter is ANR Lakewalker x ANR Jasmine, which should yield all dumbos, some black and white, some RB and white, and some rexes. Lakewalker is one of those huge squishy boys who loves people. Jasmine is a bit more shy but her sister Chubette never got pregnant, so...

The other litter is ANR His Phatness x BSVR Eva (from Laurey B.) which should be all dumbos and black, RB, or American blue, with markings. I think this is a small litter but they sure are LOUD.

So... as for the others, I have a bunch of rex girls who are still available, mostly because I've been lame about reservations. All spotty to some degree or another. Also smooth-coat Berkshire, BEW, and variegated girls.
