Baby rats

Here are photos from this morning. One baby died, Junior Cowgirl's little daughter. But because JC's surviving babies are so very fat, I moved Illusionist's smallest three daughters in with JC, who is a "super mom." Mama rats are very good about taking other babies; in fact, the main reason I have the two mamas separated right now is that they'd spend too much time stealing each other's babies!



Junior Cowgirl's boys: pink eyed white, black berk, pink-eyed white, black-eyed white, black variegated



Illusionist's boys: white with markings around the ears, black-eyed white, black berkshire with a stripe on his nose (staying here!)



Illusionist's girls: all sorts of spots, one berkshire, one black-eyed white

I like the one in the third photo, top left. Sort of semi-berkshire spotted, with a white stripe up the nose.
