I actually worry about what might happen when Boston University shuts off their modems for good. Ben's mother is retired from BU and all her internet use goes through them, and living in a fairly remote part of Vermont where modems are the only choice available for connectivity. I suppose she'll have to find some way of dialing in to somewhere else, and then connecting to BU from there.
