I keep meaning to post this...

My brother wrote this for Victoria, and it was printed on their wedding invitation.



The ocean awaits, patient. All things knowingly commit.

You and I.
The mountain and the river.

The mountain and the river.
Love and the decision to love.
The shape and the course,
Solid and fluid, push and carry.
Steadiness and motion,
Neither without the other.
All things becoming ocean.
You and I.

Love and the decision to love,
Rock and water.
There is knowing and there is loving,
All becoming ocean.

This mountain and this river, without end.
