Laurence Steinberg, who was one of my heroes when I was a psychologist, is giving a talk downstairs. And I'm not going because I have too much work to do. I'm sad.

I hear ya. I feel that way sometimes about theater/design/corporate events. Sometimes I feel nostalgic and I miss it. Then I slap myself and remind myself of how nice it is to not be constantly under stress.
