raspberries

So, thanks to some strong grunt labor, we now have a nice place to plant raspberries. I have heard good things about plants from Nourse Farms in Western Mass. They do mail-order.

I have room for 10 bushes, and would like to grow several varieties. Nourse sells a minimum of 5 per variety, so if anyone out there would like to go in on an order with me, please let me know.

I'd go in on that, but I doubt I have room for more than two. I presume you're only considering winter-hardy varieties?

How much are they? I would love to buy one or two, assuming my landlord will let me plant them in the backyard. I loooooove raspberries.

So, what kind of money are we talking? I'd love to grow some raspberries here. I tried once, but I planted them too late in the summer and the heat killed them. We've got plenty of room for them, though.

Strong preference for red, btw.

It would probably work out to about $3 per plant, with shipping. I'd like to order a variety, depending on how many people want.
