From a friend of mine from high school...

"I remember taking birthing classes with [my wife] Diane. Not one thing we learned
in those classes was used during the birth of any of our three
children. The parenting class was good for learning about diapers and not to
freak out at every little rash....

At one point during the birthing class the husbands were asked to kneel
behind their pregnant wives while the wives were on all fours on the
floor. At this point I said "isn't this how we got into this situation
in the first place?". Everyone laughed. Except for the instructor...."

Larry's still funny, dammit!

Yeah, we made comments like this (mostly) to each other mostly and found that we were the only ones with humor in the class. Everyone else was far too serious. We also noticed that we were the only ones already really comfortable and knowledgeable about how our bodies moved and worked with each other.

Bee hee!

When I was a kid one of my mother's best friends got pregnant, and my mother teased her about praying on her knees too much. Years later, I got it, and burst out laughing while walking down the street.
