When you can hear the thunderstorm from the Davis Square T-stop *platform*, that is one impressive storm.

(for those who don't know the Boston T, the Davis Square stop is about 4 flights of stairs below ground.)

I think given the Big Dig, unaccustomed rumbling noises in the subway (i.e., those not immediately identifiable as belonging to an approaching train) would probably scare the crap out of me...I'd think the roof was about to cave in. :-(
