We are about to get pounded by some real weather, though not as scary as what seems to be hitting Hartford, CT. I have no umbrella, sigh. OK, this is a good reason to stay at work a little later, even though I am tired...

Even if you had an umbrella, I'm not sure it would do you any good if it's as windy there as it is here right now. Wind Gennerator is actually generating... bad bearing and all.

Yeah, that was a fun storm. We didn't lose power here at work, but a lot of people did. Patsfan called to tell me we had lost it briefly at home. I just got in from doing med deliveries, and there were branches down *everywhere*.

It only lasted about an hour though, so that was good, anyway. Hope whatever version of it you're getting is as brief.

I did that too, and said "oh, crap."

I'd ridden into work, so I rode out of there as quickly as I could. I beat the rain home by about 3 minutes.

It looked like it was going to rain a while; I'd have stayed later if I'd known it was just going to be a line of thunderstorms.
