I have a lot of friends experiencing various bad stuff in their lives right now. My LJ friends list is full of it. Not massive drama, but Sadness For Very Good Reasons.

I don't often respond with **hugs** type comments, and for some reason I am especially not inclined to do so right now. But this does NOT mean I didn't notice, or I don't care. Seriously, really... if I read your LJ, I saw it, I noticed, I do care, I do hope you get through it and things get better ASAP!

Not to mention your own trauma. How's Raviv? I've been worried about him.

I talked to Dr. Lincoln on Saturday, and we agreed that with such a fast growing tumor, surgery was not an option. With his input, I decided that until Raviv showed pain, I would just let him live like a normal rat. Until tonight, that is exactly what he was doing, but I think he gets his one-way trip to the vet tomorrow. The tumor is about 3 times as large as it was a week ago.

I'm so sorry. The kids will be so sad, too; they really enjoyed the rats. (Even Mark got to kind of like them. He asked about Raviv too.)

unfortunately he is worse this morning... just resting on a shelf and not trying to cuddle with his buddies. He's obviously in pain, so it's time...

I think Raviv might just have been sleepy earlier. I just fed him and the others some peas, and he was most enthusiastic about that. He's acting completely normal again, even with that awful thing on his head. I just hope Dr. Lincoln and the AAH staff understand that he's going to look awful when I finally bring him in...
