I don't know what time it is... No, seriously, it's DARK out there, and I have not experienced DARK since June 19. Add in the weirdness of taking a red-eye flight, and getting a good "night's" sleep from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., and I am confused. But I am better off than the businessmen on the red-eye who were expected to put in a full 10-hour day at the office today. I overheard some of them sharing tips for surviving such expectations, many of which involved ingesting substances, legal and not. I wonder if their employers would come to their defense for using the not-legal substances. Probably not.

But, I have cleaned half the rat cages, and am starting to unpack and otherwise face whatever the next few days bring.
