quietannSo, I have been playing student for the past 2 1/2 years, and have had almost no reason to "dress for success." However, I'm starting to look for a job, since I graduate in June, and today there was a career fair at school, so I decided to wear a suit.
It's a tan and brown herringbone pattern pants suit, and I'm wearing shoes with a bit of a heel for the first time in forever, and have my hair pulled back in a clip, and am even wearing a tiny amount of makeup.
And hey, it feels good! I look a little bit like a baby dyke, but that's OK... and the floral top I am wearing kind of counteracts that. People keep telling me how good I look...
I think I might not like it if I had to dress like this *every day*, but it's a nice change... and now, since I have to preserve the suit for 2 more days of career fair activities, I need to go get back into my flannel lined jeans, jean jacket, and tennis shoes :)
