No Somerville Open Studios for me. Ben is sick, too sick to deal with the dog really. And I am not feeling so wonderful myself, though I may just be overtired.

And the dog has stopped eating again. She wasn't eating much after Ben's parents left, and then she had a couple of days with a good appetite, and now she's not eating. She seems OK, she's drinking her water, but she just doesn't want to eat.

Also... RIP Miss Squish, who died yesterday...

My condolences on the loss of miss squish. Regarding dog appitites, she may be reacting to Ben being sick, if she has gotten attached to him. Hope you all feel better soon. :-)

Miss Squish was not doing so well on Thursday night, and I found her dead when I came home from work yesterday. I actually almost always lose a rat or two on the first hot day of the year, and yesterday qualified... should have put on the A/C, not that it would have helped.

The dog did not eat her breakfast, but she did eat her dinner, or most of it. I am outside on the stoop right now, supervising her while she chews on a stick.

Ben really did need me for Dog Duty; he is feeling better, but from the look he gave me when I asked him to take the dog out about an hour ago, he's not feeling *that* good.

And I am just overtired....

Oh Ann, I'm so sorry to hear about Miss Squish. As much of a genetic accident as the Zuckers were, there was always something a little extra special about them. I wish I could've had her bathe my hand once more. RIP sweet paperweight.

I'm glad to hear that Ben is feeling a bit better. Re: the dog and her appetite, I wouldn't be overly concerned.. dogs will go on/off their food for emotional reasons. Maybe she's just upset that mom and dad seem to have abandoned her.
