pump and no ponies
Oct. 11th, 2007 02:44 pmThe subject line says it all. I got my loaner pump this morning, got it all set up and now realize just how non-functional the old one was. The past three days of bouncing blood glucose, spilling ketones etc. have wiped. me. out.
Hence no ponies :( I am scheduled to go see
goddessfarmer and ride Trump on Monday. Minnie is also having her treatment that day, yay!
ETA: The drama with Raspberry Kid is all worked out. He'd picked berries -- with my permission *and* his mother's supervision -- at our summer party, and didn't understand that he did not have blanket permission to pick. He's only 7, so this isn't surprising. I am relieved that this was not a deliberate lie. Still I am unhappy that he picked all the unripe berries, but he's young enough that he needed some adult to tell him not to pick them. In the future I will be more clear about this, and require adult supervision. Very important because we may well have raspberries in the empty bed between the barn and the deck next year.
