Must must MUST get all the rat email taken care of. (For anyone I have not talked to about it, I have 9 rapidly maturing young rats who *must* find homes soon. The boys are all total sweeties, but they are agouti (wild rat) colored (with white trim) so people don't want them. The girls are a mixed bag, a couple are very skittish for some reason, and the others are nice.)

This includes emailing the two people who expressed interest in the two rescue rats (owned by one of my customers who needs to get rid of all her pets by next weekend.)

And emailing people who want babies at the end of September about the new arrivals... more babies, yes! After this, I take a good break from the rat breeding until October.

Clean 4 cages at least, and 6 would be better.

Finish cleaning the cat room, which is a disaster area.

If it is cool enough, get the new veggie bed well watered and plant clover on it. Start thinking about what to put in the newly cleared garden areas (besides... MORE RASPBERRIES!!! in a bed by the new deck.)

Be sure to reserve time to cuddle my husband, who's been a bit neglected recently.

-- 4 rat cages
-- finished cleaning the cat space
-- some but not all of the rat email
-- veggie bed watered and clover sown

Not done:

-- 2 rat cages
-- further progress on fanfic
-- cuddling husband, but that is not my fault; he got sucked into the Arisia Meeting of Doom, left at noon and is not home yet!

BTW on garden stuff -- I have wayyyyy too much clover seed and would be happy to share with anyone who wants it. I think I miscalculated what I needed by an order of magnitude... whoops.

Also -- I am planning to order raspberries from Nourse Farms very soon, for spring delivery. I will be getting a mix of summer reds, fall reds, and fall yellow plants; they sell in lots of five plants, so if you are interested in being part of the order, let me know. The more people who want plants, the more varieties I can order...

I have a huge number of unfinished projects in my life. I have quilts, knitting, fanfic, etc. Much of it is "this close" to being done. And yet I rarely pick something up and finish it. I rarely start new things in these areas either, which I guess is a good thing :)

Riding is different. So is rat breeding. I am never "done" with either; there is always room for improvement, always something to be learned, and when one animal dies or moves on, there are always more. Right now, I find both of these things much easier to deal with than my other hobbies.
