Here she is, glaring again. (She was suspicious that Ben was coming to take me away from her, and she ultimately was right.)

She really does resemble a well-loved stuff animal (you have direct experience with this, because of your kids...) ... She is missing a leg, her fur is kind of matted and clumpy, and her "stuffing" has shifted around such that her belly is too full and the rest of her is decidedly understuffed. (oh, and her purr box appears to be broken. When I was a kid, I had various stuffed animals that made cute noises when shaken or when a little key on the side was wound up, and over the years the noisemakers broke. It was very sad.)
