OK, I'm happier now :) gosling and I cleared up the glitter issue... as usual I jumped to a wrong conclusion or three. Tends to happen with her, but there's, um, history there. And other than cramps, I'm OK physically too.
I have sewn today; I finished a very cool quilt top featuring friendly dragons (they do things like read to the knights and the little boys, and stand under the apple tree so the little boys can reach the apple). It's for the son of some friends who are ardent SF/fantasy readers. Now I just need to quilt it... which will be MUCH easier on the new machine.
And tomorrow I go be super-student researcher, then see marmota -- a day to look forward to
