We're being unreasonably lame, but here's today's list of tasks:

  • laundry (4 loads)
  • put away laundry
  • go to Wild Oats to get yogurt for me and breakfast food for Ben's parents
  • sweep rat room floor (Ben did this)
  • wash rat room floor
  • wash downstairs bathroom floor
  • meet with person coming to get rats
  • Clean rat cages:

    • Zoe
    • Old rats
    • Zaltz & Doc

  • go to regular grocery store for our supplies and party stuff (Ben)
  • clear bathroom counter (Ben)
  • clean sinks (Ben)
  • clean tub (may not get done) (Ben)
  • make guestroom bed
  • iron clothes and put away (ironing board is in guestroom)
  • sort through yarn projects (again):

    • giveaway
    • started
    • unstarted

  • sweep guestroom floor (Ben)
  • more basic decluttering in guestroom
  • vacuum:

    • hallway (Ben)
    • living room

  • label drawers where breakfast things are because Ben's parents will wake up earlier than us

Well, our usual day is probably about 1/5th as intense. We just waited to do a lot of the stuff we needed to do until my job ended...

That's an awful lot of crossing-out going on there. Yay you folks!

Ben would add "vacuum the dining room." I didn't put it on the list because I think of it as a room to be swept, not vacuumed. But Ben proved me wrong.

Also...
  • Sweep mud room, kitchen, and downstairs bathroom
  • Vacuum bottom of stairs and stove room
  • Clean upstairs toilet
Food shopping for home and tonight's Arisia party at Gaylaxicon took longer than I expected because I went through the all of the aisles and the checkout line twice (to keep the bags of food and receipts separate).

I was hoping that I could get the same cashier (it would have been entertaining to confuse her), but the second time through her lane was closed.

The real test comes when we actually start going through stuff to figure out what to keep, where to store what we are keeping, etc...
