So... I finished the main body of the crocheted vest I have been working on. And it's too big, and I somehow really messed up the yarn tension. With proper tension and correct sizing, it would be very attractive. So now... do I rip and start over, throw it away, what? The tension is too messed up for me to give it to someone larger as a gift, BTW.

Help?

Edit: Actually the yarn is such that I could just start at the end of the vest, and go in the other direction (ripping as I go). Hm.

Edit^2: Meanwhile, I checked the website where I got the yarn, and they have a colorway of the same yarn that I like better than this one, which was not quite what I was expecting. Hm^2.
