This morning, I saw a groundhog out back. He was clearly confused about why there is all this white stuff still on the ground. He looked hungry. he didn't see his shadow, because the place where he was is shaded in the morning.

I keep thinking we should set up a web cam so folks can look for critters in our back yard (from the kitchen window I've seen deer, coyote, chipmunks, squirrels, ground hogs and lots of birds).

There are a lot of birds around now, and precious little bare ground for them to forage on.
