That conclusion really tells you everything you need to know about this "test." All of the words in the test are common; the introduction even specifically says "Good English is not necessarily about developing an expanse[sic] vocabulary." Note also the error in the introduction text!

The problem is that even though the words are common, they're commonly misused or confused.

That's not the point. The test results are claiming something that wasn't tested for. That's totally bogus.

Furthermore, I'm convinced that at least two of the answers are actually wrong (#17 clearly so, and #3 technically).
