quietann1. Accidentally gave the principal of my high school a unexpected look at my braless breasts.
2. Got thrown out of an insane physical therapist's office (he liked me, and then... he didn't.)
3. Said no to one of the best psychology Ph.D. programs in the country
4. Dated a guy who had cerebral palsy. Fell totally, madly, in love with him, and got back together with him about every 4 years, for about 10 years or so.
5. Was the first (and probably only) sexual partner of a 33 year old virgin physicist.
6. Had a crush on a mostly gay guy, who turned me down because I was "too nice" for the likes of him. He was right. And now he's dead.
7. Had a letter to the editor published in San Diego's main newspaper when I was 12, when I was 16, and when I was 24.
8. For that matter, had every letter to the editor I have ever written get published (aboou 10, all told, from local papers to salon.com to the LA Times to university papers)
