So... with the impending job, I got back in touch with David the carpenter from Vermont (who was at our wedding, and has done fabulous work on Ben's house), because if I have a job, we can use ben's money to do the long-awaited renovations to the kitchen and bathrooms. I'm at work. A dog got electrocuted just up the street from where I work. I slept well and was fine when I woke up this morning, but now the headache is back. Southern California is on fire again. I may break this post into several parts but please don't wait for them all to leave comments... you may never get the chance! So, there are many things to write about my vacation to England and Wales, but the most obvious one is sheep. Things have gotten very strange at work. I am over at the new job now, and most of the data entry staff (with whom I share a large office) speak Spanish. Waiting for the endoscopy. I just realized that I need to have Wednesday's lecture prepared (or at least have a good start on it), because I probably have to go out to BI to get my stitches out that day (which will take several hours, including transit, waiting, etc.), *and* because I really don't expect to get a lot of sleep Tuesday night. thanks everyone for sympathies WRT my broken toe.

Conclusion: I mostly write complete, if incoherent and overly long, sentences. And the above is a fairly good summary of 2004...
