So the outing went OK. I stopped at AC moore, and then went to Fabric Place, which was having its 25% off everything weekend, so was mobbed. And I didn't buy any yarn! I looked and looked and contemplated, but could not make up my mind about anything. sigh. I did buy some fancy expensive knitting needles, just because. By the end of it, my leg was sore.
I came home and eventually napped, but first finished the front of the ginormous sweater! yay! The finished edges look rough, but I think they will be OK once the sweater is put together. Now on to sleeves...
I'm frustrated after several days being cooped up with Ben. Ben is wonderful, but I need a bit more variety in my day-to-day life. I was hoping for craftnite, but no one called for it. From here, this post would just degenerate into grumbling about social isolation, so I will spare everyone...

Date: 2004-10-25 06:14 pm (UTC)I actually would have showed up. As long as I keep my leg propped up afterwards, short drives in an automatic (where I don't have to use the leg) are fine.
I'm really frustrated by not being able to host craftnite yet. It may be another 6 months at this rate, and there will still be critters in both bathrooms... (rats downstairs, degus upstairs), but... argh :)
