It all went well, and I was home by about 2 p.m. yesterday. I have not done much besides sleep since then. Pain is not terrible, but the bandage itches! (I have an ace bandage from a few inches above my knee to mid-calf.) I also have a cold, and my period, and my throat got a little raw from the anesthesia tube, so "semi-miserable" best describes my current state.

I won't be at any of the weekend's social events, mostly because I need to keep my leg elevated and would therefore take up a lot of couch space... I plan to sleep a lot, knit, watch my very pregnant rat (who is in an aquarium next to the bed) and otherwise just be...

Yay, I'm glad things went well. I *hate* ace bandages; the time or two that I could have used them, they itched enough that I just dealt without.

Rest up, hope things are better soon. And really, just think of this as a great opportunity to sleep off the cold, which often works.

Glad to hear it went well, take it easy. Take advantage and catch up on your sleep.
