That went well. As I expected, getting the IV put in was the worst part. I don't remember anything after being told the sedation was starting until I was being rolled to the recovery room. I rested, then Ben came in and I had some juice and crackers. He's graciously agreed to take me shopping and out for dinner.

I don't have celiac, so the iron mystery remains. The doctor removed 2 small polyps from my stomach ... nothing to worry about there.

Yay on the no-celiac! Bah on the iron mystery. But at least you can eat.
Take care

yes, in a way I'm kind of unhappy that there isn't a clear answer about the iron issue, especially because if I were absorbing iron better, I'd probably have a lot more energy. Sigh.

Glad to hear it went well, sorry it's still a mystery though. What's with the polyps, was it a "well, I'm here anyway, might was well get them now" thing, or did they know they were there before going in?

it was the former. There they were, two little (3 mm and 5mm) lumps, so why not take 'em out? They're going to a lab as biopsy samples, but it is extremely rare that they are anything to worry about.
