As usual, the organic-by-neglect Ann-Ben Orchards are yielding a bumper crop of apples, and some pears. I probably won't have time to make much Not-Quite-Vegan fruit sauce this year, but if anyone out there wants a bag of apples and/or pears to make their own sauce, please let me know. I picked a few apples today; this fruit is Not Pretty, but it tastes marvelous.
