I need another hobby?
Aug. 11th, 2004 03:35 pmI need another hobby like I need an extra hole in my head, but I just went and bought some big chunky yarn and large knitting needles and a beginner's knitting book. eep! I will be seeing some folks tonight who know their knitting...
I'm a crocheter. One hook seems less complicated than two. However... here are some reasons to take up knitting:
-- knitting results in a less bulky and therefor softer look and texture.
-- more patterns are available for knitted stuff
-- great big yarn looks better knitted than crocheted.
-- I'm tired of people asking me "what are you knitting?" when I am actually crocheting!
