quietannI *really* enjoy doing dishes by hand. There is something very satisfying about turning a sinkful of dirty dishes into a dish drainer full of clean ones. We don't have a dishwasher right now, and I'd almost consider just leaving it out of the new kitchen. But, there are times (e.g. when there are a LOT of dishes) that it's a good thing to have.
