Invent a memory of me and post it in the comments. It can be anything you want, so long as it's something that's never happened. Then, of course, post this to your journal and see what people would like to remember of you, only the universe failed to cooperate in making it happen so they had to make it up instead.

Remember that time you took me to a quilters convention? The classes were fun, but some people didn't know what to make of the erotic Japanese woodblock print fabric we had ordered online. But the best part was staying up late, getting drunk and gossipping. :)

It does sound like fun! Maybe you can tell me when the conventions are... but it sounds more like a winter thing cause it's so nice to be outdoors on summer weekends! Hm, evening classes then hang around and drink?

I love the degus you sold me, and and I'm so glad you taught me how to care for them!

remember the time some folks on suspects were doing the 48 hour film project where they had 48 hours to make an 8 minute long horror movie, and they asked if anyone had a pet rat and they came and filmed the rat "attack" scene at your place and used DOZENS of baby rats all on camera and squirming around and being happy rats.

i helped you rinse the rats off afterwards because they were spattered with some kind of stage blood, and man, that was squirmy slippery fun. and we had to count them all three or four times before we were sure we had them all. and the movie listed you in the credits as 'RAT WRANGLER'.

I remember when we were both little boys maybe 6 or 7 years old. You wanted to be an astronaut, and I wanted to be your ground control. Whatever happened to those good ol' days when we just *knew* we could do anything.

Ah, that reminds me of our Freshman year of high school, and the time we escaped from that damned pep rally to hike through the woods. It's too bad one of the cafeteria staff saw us dissappear into the trees. You'd think we'd been up to no good the way the campus cop tracked us down. I don;t know about you, but I think those stolen moments alone in the woods were worth the week's worth of detention it netted us. Moments like that live on in our memories forever, while the petty nuisances of scholastic punishments fade into the haze that swallows such dulldrums.

A sailer at sea forgets being becalmed, but always remembers the storms and battles that shaped him.
