I am reminded of the hill in the zoo at New Orleans--a sign explained that it was built at great expense so that the children of New Orleans would know what a "hill" was and have one to play on.
That's the reason I was reluctant to go to the town's compost site and transport the dirt in the back of my station wagon in containers. It might be free, but I wasn't looking forward to filling the containers, one shovel load at a time and then making repeated trips back and forth.
