mammogram, part 2
Oct. 24th, 2003 12:09 amargh. I had to go back, because they thought there was a suspicious looking spot in my breast. This time they used the smaller breast-squisher mentioned by
drbitch, and it *did* hurt.
It turns out that the spot was just from the way my breast was squished during the first mammogram; several small bits of tissue were lined up one above the other, and made what looked like a single spot. This is one of the problems with using a 2-d technique on a 3-d object....
So, no problems, "come back next year!" is all they said :)
