and now for something completely different

I won't be talking about vaccinations anymore, at least on LJ.

So I will talk about raspberries instead! [livejournal.com profile] lyonesse, I now know why you wanted yellow raspberry plants! I went to Mahoney's yesterday to get some sale plants, and they had one *huge* "Fall Gold" raspberry plant with several ripe berries. When no one was looking, I picked and ate three of them. Yum! I had to drag myself away from the plant; it was too big for the space in my raised bed where one of the original raspberry plants did not survive. I bought a little "Fall Gold" plant instead; with any luck, I will get some yellow raspberries next year!

*grin* i don't know yet if my raspberries from this year will survive the construction (i believe at least one is toast; jury's still out on the others). either way, i think i'm going with golds next year. they are truly delicious :)

My best-growing raspberry plant died this weekend. It's all yellow/brown and wilting. Don't think it
dried up since it's next door neighbor (my last chance) is still green.

bugs?
