foot, day 5
Aug. 4th, 2003 05:23 pmIt still hurts, but not as much. I am getting some muscle cramps from having to hold my toes up when I walk. That's much worse than the wound itself, as is the place on the top of my foot where the doctor injected local anesthetic.

Date: 2003-08-05 07:30 am (UTC)hm. This might have been a good idea. The doctor just told me to "stay off it as much as possible" -- which I am doing, but it's still pretty frustrating. He really was vague about wound care, especially for someone who specializes in treating diabetics.
I'd definitely have to get a special shoe; because of the way my toes are constructed, I would not have room for anything but toes in the end of my shoe...
